An E-Mail From The Future Rock Legend

Dealing with clients is not as easy as it seems. Being a logo designer, I have been through a number of idiotic situations. I face different types of people on daily basis, some of them are extremely cool but most of them are freakishly evil ;). Today I am going to show you one of the e-mails that I received from my clients (actually, I am not sure if he can be termed as a client because I simply deleted his e-mail being so clueless that I didn’t know what I should do with it as it was unbelievably ridiculous and funny at the same time), but before you read it, I need you to understand that I don’t mean to offend any of my clients and this example is for fun’s sake only. After all, all of us are designers because of our precious clients. Anyways, here it is;

EMAIL IMAGE - An E-Mail From The Future Rock Legend

You read the e-mail! I bet you laughed your guts out? I mean, what in the blue hell is this guy talking about??? I don’t think he had any clue. The very second when I read his name Mr. Jimmy M. Dick (Bob Zombie the Zarilyn Manson), I said what the heck! I mean, who calls himself “MR”! And he took the legendary rock icon names of Rob zombie and Marilyn Manson and changed the first initials of B and Z to make his “out of the box” nick name! I never saw something like this coming. On top of that, he wants me to show all of his7 band members in one logo! You gotta be kidding me! How is that possible? And did you check the one where Mr. Dick says that he wants to record his 3rd album’s song while I design his logo, despite of the fact that his FIRST album hasn’t launched yet!!! Then there’s the best part of this e-mail, Mr. Dick has a soft heart and he has emotions for animals as he felt bad for the dog in the logo. You know, there are so many things to die laughing about but because of the short space (and courtesy barrier of course) I can’t continue.

Anyhow, this is not the only insane e-mail I have received; I have a whole bunch of them. If you like this one, drop your comments below. In response I will post more of these e-mails 😉 Have a nice Weekend.

Stanley Meston, the architect came up with a theme of red-and-white walk-up restaurant with a unique slanted roof. Dick didn’t like the design at first and said it was too simple. Thus, he suggested adding two huge yellow arches starting from the front of the restaurant to its back and to the both sides of the restaurant. They also incorporated another arch sporting “Speedee” logo to be identified as a sign for the restaurants. For many years, the arches only served as an architectural feature of the McDonalds.
